We begin this month with a summary of the candidates to The disHonor Roll. Sadly, and due to the current state of Mexican education, January was a very productive month for us.
The disHonor Roll discovered that many more institutions have been "infiltrated" by individuals with fraudulent degrees. Among those that stand out are the Chapingo Autonomous University, with six faculty members with fraudulent degrees, the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) International Relations Center, the University of Guanajuato and the University of Zacatecas.
We also documented a case of sixteen state scholarships paid for by the Sonora Institute of Technology for "studies" at the diploma mill Pacific Western University, whose degrees are unrecognized in Mexico. Publics funds were used to pay for diplomas that had nor have any value in Mexico or in the United States.
We also recommended an article written by J. Jesus Blancornelas about academic corruption in Mexico. Even though it was written a few years ago, it confirms some of our investigations and mentions other individuals of interest. The article is in Spanish, so you may want to use a translation system. You may also wish to read our previous summary in English.

Estimado Ahuizotl:
